Lindsay is a third year graduate student in the Clinical Child Psychology Program. She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and English from Texas A&M University, and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University.  Her research interests include child maltreatment, the stress response system, and pediatric health problems. Specifically, she is interested in looking at how trauma shows up in the body and leads to obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular problems, and other issues. She hopes to understand how social factors, such as parental support and family resources, influence these relations. She also wants to explore adherence and health outcomes in foster youth with chronic conditions.
